About The Salvaged Edge and Marie Young

My photo
The Salvaged Edge
I am an artist that has always had a love for nature and treasure hunting. The Salvaged Edge is the name of my line of jewelry and gifts made from salvaged copper, 100% post consumer recycled silver, and whatever else I find in my treasure hunts. As of now, all of my work is completed entirely by hand using hand tools, except the bags that I sew to hold the jewelry which I do with an old Singer sewing machine. I like it that way. I want each piece of mine to feel like there is a story and a history behind it. I want my pieces to be ones that stay at the top of the jewelry box and get worn over and over then passed on to children and grandchildren.
